TK700STi
True 4K short-throw projector with HDR and 16ms input lag. The community-favorite for golf simulator use, also excellent for movies and gaming. The TK710STi (laser successor) is the new community default; the TK700STi is positioned below it as the cheaper 4K (lamp) option.

Who this is for
Honest match per persona.
Good for
- Recreational Player
True 4K with HDR makes virtual courses look genuinely good, and the lamp economy keeps total spend reasonable.
- Family Setup
4K projector that doubles as an excellent movie and gaming display — strong shared-use value.
- Cost-Effective Buyer
The cheapest path into 4K sim. Lamp life is the tradeoff; if you want laser longevity, step up to the TK710STi for ~$700 more.
Not for
- Performance Seeker
Lamp brightness fades over 4,000–15,000 hours; performance personas should choose laser (TK710STi or AK700ST).
- Space-Constrained
0.9–1.08 throw needs more depth than tight rooms allow. Choose AH500ST or GT2100HDR instead.
- Showroom
Lamp light source conflicts with the showroom premise of zero-maintenance components.
